This low cost renewable material is the most common printing material due to its ease of printability and relative strength. The major printing advantages to PLA are the low melting temperature as well as its ability to be printed at relatively high speeds and still retain lots of detail. Meaning it can be ideal for multiple iterations of products and large batches of prints.
